IDEA: Northeastern’s Venture Accelerator launches first wave of ventures

In fewer than two years, IDEA has worked with more than 200 ven­tures from every col­lege in the uni­ver­sity and pro­vided approx­i­mately $150,000 in funding to more than a dozen teams, many of which have drawn interest from out­side investors. Northeastern University student-led accelerator fund grows its funding

Student-run venture accelerator IDEA has added another pitch round over the summer, and more funding to its program. Created by a group of students at Northeastern University, IDEA will now offer another opportunity for current undergraduate and graduate students and alumni to bring their ventures out of the dorm room and in front of investors.
