The annual summit for research institution gap fund and accelerator programs, including proof of concept programs, startup accelerators, and university venture funds

The Story

Yale Ventures’ newly surfaced FY2026 Annual Report shows $6 million in translational funding, 11 new faculty-led spinouts, and 73 new licenses/deals during the year. The funding is distributed across a growing portfolio of targeted accelerator funds: the Blavatnik Fund awarded $4.1 million across 21 projects, the Roberts Innovation Fund deployed $1 million across 10 projects, the new Planetary Solutions Impact Accelerator awarded $1 million across four projects, and HealthTech Works is preparing its first funding cycle.

The report also documents a substantial corporate-engagement layer: Yale says its Corporate Strategy & Engagement office raised $18 million for faculty research and programs, supported more than 100 active projects, and expanded relationships with companies including AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, Unilever, NVIDIA, D-Wave and Quantinuum
