The KU Innovation and Collaboration Proof of Concept Fund (POC) was established in January 2013 to further develop novel technologies that are near-commercialization. High-risk, fast-track research/innovation projects, with clear potential to bring products to the market were selected for funding on a competitive basis. The goal of the program is to enable technologies for licensing to a company. As part of the program, each PI is required to give a presentation during the funding period, as well as a short bi-monthly project update. Lunch Provided. Open to all interested students, faculty and staff.
