A University of Maryland, College Parkprogram has awarded $3.8 million to 17 teams of university researchers working with state companies on projects to bring technology products to market.
The Maryland Industrial Partnerships program provides matching grants to companies that partner with university researchers to accelerate technology commercialization. Companies involved in the program are contributing $2.3 million and MIPS is contributing $1.5 million to the projects.
The program is part of the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute at the James A. Clark School of Engineering at University of Maryland.
