Yosef Mirakov Cohen, a senior marketing major in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University, is concerned about animal rescue and environmental protection. C’est Lä Vé, his company, manufactures vegan snack boxes in environmentally friendly packaging. He presented his idea to investors and members of the Richmond business community last week in the hopes of receiving $5,000 in funding.
Demo Day, the annual gathering of student entrepreneurs at the da Vinci Center for Innovation, included the presentation. C’est Lä Vé was one of six featured teams chosen to give a stage presentation at the event.
