Elanco Animal Health Incorporated (NYSE: ELAN) plans to launch a dedicated corporate venture capital platform backed by a $25 million multi-year commitment as the company seeks to expand its access to emerging technologies and early-stage innovation across the animal health sector.
The new initiative, Elanco Ventures, will focus on identifying, supporting and investing in startups developing new therapies and technologies for animal health, while also exploring opportunities within the broader One Health ecosystem that connects animal, human and environmental health.
The venture platform is expected to begin operations in late 2026 and will primarily target companies at the Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A stages. Elanco said the fund will initially prioritize investments in therapeutic innovation and enabling technologies that can advance animal care and productivity across both companion animals and livestock markets.
