SIB Medical Technologies thinks it can reinvent colon cancer detection. The Wayne State University spin-out is developing a medical device that could become the simpler and cheaper option for colon cancer screening. The technology preserves tissue samples in a liquid solution rather than with heavy, bulky cryogenic materials, which could allow for home screenings.
